Hoganne A. Walton joined CGTC Athletics as the Cross Country Assistant Coach in June 2019. Coach Walton has been an instructor at CGTC since 2013, and is currently the Department Chair for Paralegal Studies.

Walton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Spelman College and her Masters of Business Administration in Public Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. In 2009, she earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Western Michigan University Cooley Law School). Coach Walton has been licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia since 2009. She is a Leadership Georgia Class of 2018 Alumni.

Walton is an avid fitness enthusiast, and has run half marathon races throughout the United States and internationally, the latest race being in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Coach Walton is a native of Milledgeville, Georgia and is married to Erik J. Walton.
