CGTC Women’s Cross Country Hitting Stride at Right Time

Statesboro, GA – For the first time this season, the Central Georgia Technical College women's cross country team was able to compete with their full squad in the GATA XC Classic hosted by Georgia Southern University. In a field against, Georgia Southern University, Jacksonville University, Flagler College, and South Georgia State College, the Lady Titans finished the meet in fourth place with a team score of 90.

Leading the Lady Titans on the course was freshman Ashley Johnson, who finished in 14th place with a time of 22:16.16. Presley Pittman (22:41.06) finished 16th, Christa Hall (22:57.64) finished 18th, Jordan Greene (23:51.91) finished 23rd, Anna Ashe (23:54.55) finished 24th, Bre'Asia Mills (25:27.20) finished 27th, and Alyssa Lunsford (26:44.78) finished 31st.

The Lady Titans will be back on the course Wednesday, October 27 in Milledgeville to compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Championship.
