Rosacecilia Sanchez Continues Offensive Firepower for CGTC Women's Soccer Despite Early Conference Losses

Warner Robins, Ga. - A quarter of the way through the season, CGTC Women's Soccer forward, Rosacecilia Sanchez, leads the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Conference (GCAA) in total points, the accumulation of goals and assists, according to the GCAA statistics table.

The Titans have been on a four-game losing streak in to start September (0-3 in conference) following a 5-0 non-conference victory over ABAC to close out August, but not despite offensive growth. As the Titans continue to move toward their first conference win, Rosacecilia Sanchez, a 2024 all-region selection, is continuing her offensive output in 2025.

Sanchez's four goals and two assists place her at the top of GCAA Division-1 statistics as of September 9, 2025. Teammate Brithani Montalvo is currently 3rd in overall assists.

"Our offensive growth, despite the recent losing streak, is encouraging," said head coach Annette Weiche. "It's great to see Rosacecilia Sanchez, an all-region selection in 2024, continuing her strong offensive output this season."

Weiche added that while the start to September has been challenging, the progress in the team's offense is a clear positive.

"We have shown resilience before, and I know they'll continue to work hard and learn from these games," she said.

Weiche added that the focus for the team is on the next game and building on connections and positive signs to hopefully earn their first conference win.

The Titans Women's Soccer Team takes on Andrew College on September 13 at 12:00 pm. For more on GCAA stats and standings, visit www.thegcaa.com.
