Americus, Ga. — The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) women’s basketball team is the 2026 Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) champions after a 94-83 win Friday night in Americus, Georgia, over host and No. 1 seed, South Georgia Technical College. 

 

The 2026 GCAA Championship is the program's first conference championship in NJCAA Division-1. 

 

The championship contest between the conference's two top programs saw the Titans continue their balanced offensive attack to earn the victory and take the season series, 2-1, against the Jets. The Titans averaged 95.0 points in two tournament games. 

 

As the conference champions, the Titans earned the GCAA’s automatic berth to the NJCAA Women’s National Tournament in Lake Charles, Louisiana, March 24-31.
