Antonio Harris was named the cross country coach in July 2014. In addition to his coaching position, Coach Harris serves as an assistant coach for men's basketball. Prior to joining Central Georgia Technical College, Harris was a seasoned veteran of law enforcement with over 16 years of experience as a police officer, Federal Air Marshall, and most recently, a Violent Crime Investigator with the Bibb County Sherriff's Department. Harris has also served honorably in the United States Navy, serving in Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

Harris began his coaching career at Howard Middle School in 2005. His next stint at coaching occurred at Tattnall Square Academy in 2008, where he served as the varsity basketball assistant coach, junior varsity basketball head coach, and the assistant golf coach. He continued his coaching career at Miller Magnet School as the assistant football coach and defensive coordinator, associate girl's basketball coach, and the assistant track coach. Since 2004, Harris has mentored the Girls in Motion basketball club and the Middle Georgia Monarchs girls basketball teams in Macon.

Harris attended Hampton University and Central Texas College. A native of Macon, Coach Harris continues to reside in the area and is married to Rhonda Harris. They have three children, Faren, Jaren, and Zaren.
