Macon, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) women's basketball program made an addition to their 2018-2019 roster on Tuesday with the signing of Northeast High School Raiderette (Macon) Victoria Dumas.
Dumas was a three-year varsity player at Northeast under head girls' basketball coach, Heavenly Whitehead. During her career at Northeast, Victoria played in 69 games and averaged 10.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game
In her senior season, Dumas averaged 12.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, and two steals.
"It's a great day to be able to sign a player of Victoria's caliber," said CGTC head women's basketball coach, Antonio Harris. "Her signing speaks volumes for the city of Macon and Central Georgia Tech. Anytime you can sign a quality student-athlete here in your own backyard, it's definitely an eye opener for all to see what CGTC has to offer and everything the College can provide to student-athletes in the middle Georgia area."
The CGTC Lady Titans finished the 2017-18 season with a 22-10 overall record, and 13-5 in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA).
